During development on Spirit Riding Free, I storyboarded the 1st half of the pilot episode. This is an excerpt. I also did walk & run cycles for the main cast. I made a point to show their different personalities in each of the runs and walks. These, along with the facial expression examples, were used as an initial guide for the computer animators.
During my time as director on Spirit Riding Free, I would sometime jump in and do sections of storyboards myself, as well as revisions.
